Getting enough plants to make enough kibble could be a problem.

I also play on a map where I can grow plants for just 30 days per year.
#RIMWORLD NUTRIENT PASTE NOT PRODUCING MOD#
I'm playing with a mod that allows me to produce and stockpile nutrient paste, I'm feeding my animals with it and my muffalos multiply really fast what cost me so much food. Even on a year round grazing map, with only grazing animals, they are more work than farming and would not be worthwhile. Just wanna know what will cost less food. They all function at a nutrition loss, converting a large amount of vege into a smaller amount of protein, specifically for making quality meals. You don't want to be doing anything with protein animals if you are using paste. Berries are a good chunk below in nutrition per day, their only purpose is to be eaten raw without a mood penalty, making them in a way better than nutrient paste, but they have a small food poisoning risk. Because the mood boost isn't slight, 8 mood (if you're using nutrient dispenser as a baseline) for fine meals is actually a very large boost. All three have a very close nutrition per day. This means if a pawn gets hungry while mining at the far end of your base, he's going to come all the way back to eat. Potatoes are a middle ground with a bonus on gravel. dispensers are pretty big, so you can construct one into the wall of your prison, such that the front is accessible by. Once filled, screw on the lid of the dispenser tightly so that no paste leaks out. Make sure to follow the instructions on the packet, as different brands and types of pastes will have different recommended amounts. Originally posted by Darlordvader: so build the paste dispenser and the hopper, provide it with power, set the setting for human meat only, have a dead body and just wait Oh sorry, youll have to butcher the dead body at a butchering table, just select 'allow all' in the settings on butcher. The hopper needs to be next to the dispenser to feed it, but hoppers can't be in prisoner areas because colonists won't fill them. Fill the dispenser with your chosen nutrient paste. Rice is the most effort (most skill gain) but the shortest grow time which makes it ideal for getting as much out of a growing season as possible. Hoppers are used by Nutrient Paste Dispensers to provide food for turning into paste. Corn is the least effort (least skill gain) but takes the longest to grow and you can generally only maximize it on year-round growing maps. Originalmente postado por powersale023:Im sure that some crops and animals produces more food items than others in terms of efficiency and time but ok.Ĭrops are situational, there is a best for a given scenario but it has nothing to do with nutrient paste.
